About GibbsEd

A classroom learning platform for K–12 students.

GibbsEd is a small, teacher-run learning platform. A credentialed public-school teacher uses it with their own students during the regular school day. It is not a commercial product and is not for sale.

What students do here

Students sign in with a username and a PIN given to them by their teacher. They see the day's lesson, read the instructions or prompts, and submit work — usually a short written response, a measurement, or a photo of paper work. For short-answer writing, they can get fast practice feedback so they know what to revise before they turn it in.

What teachers do here

A teacher organizes their course into units and daily lessons. Each lesson holds tasks that students complete during class. The teacher reviews submissions, assigns grades, and exports grades back to the school's official grade book.

What this is not

GibbsEd is not a social network. Students cannot message each other through the app, and there are no public posts, comments, or profiles. Students only see material their own teacher has assigned to them.
